He has extensive knowledge and expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and has experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific Natural Language Processing applications. He served as the chief architect for a contract with the US Air Force to develop an LLM (AirBERT) fine-tuned for C-130H and C-130J military transport aircraft maintenance and logistic contextual analysis. He also developed a broader aerospace LLM (AeroBERT) applicable to the broader aerospace industry. He is currently working on various AI/ML applications in agriculture, atmospheric vortex detection and analysis, a chatbot powered by LLM and NLP, to increase patients’ medical adherence, among other projects. He is also working on NASA funded project as lead curriculum developer to introduce AM/ML to middle and high school students and NSF funded project to develop and train Master Computer Science Leaders in rural Georgia K-12 school districts.

His primary research interests are Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Unmanned Systems, Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Acoustic Localization.
