Data Management in SQL

Data Management in SQL

The primary goal of this program is to learn principles and practices of database management and database design with Structured Query Language (SQL). The journey begins with an exploration of conceptual data modeling, relational database design, normalization, and SQL queries, where you’ll discover various methods for analyzing, manipulating, and extracting insights from data.

Building on this foundation, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the theory, application and management of relational database technology. The program concludes with an extension to big data analytics, ensuring you are prepared to handle vast and complex data sets. By mastering how to approach and solve business challenges through data organization and manipulation, you’ll be equipped to apply your knowledge within your organization and beyond, distinguishing yourself in today’s competitive business environment. This program utilizes a hands-on approach with practical problems used as theory reinforcement.

Data Management in SQL is offered in two different programs – SQL Basic and SQL Advanced.

Certificate of Completion: Participants who complete the 8-hour session of SQL Basic or the 8-hour session of SQL Advanced will receive a Mercer certificate of completion.
